Thanks to Greg S. for purchasing these records and thanks to John and Greg for doing the analog to digital transfers.

Greg has also posted these files online for download. Go here: http://darkshadows222.multiply.com/ then click on Music, then page through the playlists until you find the AFRTS files. You will need to register with Multiply in order to download but it's free.

Please download only those files that you need. The Flac files are the same quality as wave files, just a different format. The MP3 files are very good quality 128K encodes. File sizes will vary a bit from episode to episode but in general, the Flac files are about 220 MB and the MP3 files are about 40 MB. Be patient, these files are big!

You might be asking yourself "Which files should I download?" Well, it really depends on what you want them for. If you just want them for general purpose listening, get the MP3 files. They sound great, are widely supported by just about all audio players and they will download the quickest. If you are a purist or a very serious collector, and you want to save bit of download time AND you have a knack for computer stuff, get the Flac files. The Flac files are playable in supported players and they can be decoded back to the original Wave file. You'll need to read up on Flac and learn how to use them if you go this route. In Firefox right-click the link and choose "Save link as" or in Internet Explorer right-click the link and choose "Save target as". If you don't right-click, you might play the file live from this webpage. While listening to the episodes is an enjoyable experience, you might be disappointed when its over to find that you didn't save it and have to download it again!
